PLANTING SEEDS FOR THE HARVEST

November 2005

Even though the winter ground is frozen, CBE is preparing for a harvest like never before!

This coming year, we have the opportunity to attend multiple conferences and meetings, hosting a booth at each with resources about biblical equality. Some of these gatherings —Evangelical Press Association, The Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization issue group, Cornerstone, the Evangelical Theological Society—we attend and see results each year.

But many of these gatherings will be new ground for us, places where God has led us to new fields ripe for the harvest. We have been asked to be a presence at the Council of Christian Colleges and the Apostolic Women’s conference. We also hope to host a booth at Urbana 2006. In addition, we want to be part in people’s healing at the American Association of Religion and the Society for Biblical Literature, where many women are drawn to other religions because they do not find a voice in conservative Christianity.

Now, we have the opportunity to scatter these seeds all over the world: from West Africa to Washington, D.C. CBE is ready to go—will you help send us?

Each book, article, and recording is like a seed dropped into rich soil. Help us break ground in new fields, so that many more can use their gifts to join in the harvest!

In Christ,

P.S. Your contribution to next year’s booths will help many grow in their God-given gifts! For every gift of $1,000 or more, CBE will send you a leather TNIV Bible.
